Camera Interfacing Works
Ok so today I popped down in the lab for a little bit and managed to grab and display images from it. I installed a USB-RS232 converter and used CvCam, which is an open source library included in OpenCV. We still need to encode them to a jpeg and figure out how to make the thing look around and zoom.
